South Beach Diet Phase Three

South Beach Diet Phase Three is the phase you enjoy once you have achieved your weight goal. Here you will enjoy a complete variety of foods.

Just to give you a preview of some of the mouth-watering foods you can enjoy once again on the Phase Three they are listed here.

For dairy products once you are on the South Beach Diet Phase Three you can have two or three cups daily of fat free or 1 percent milk
Fat free or 1 percent buttermilk, low fat goat's milk
Soymilk
Fat free plain yogurt
Fat free or reduced sour cream in small amounts
Nonfat plain kefir
Fat free or low fat evaporated milk
Fat free or powered milk
4 ounces of fat free flavored yogurt
Cheeses you can once again enjoy in fat free include
American
Cheddar
Cottage cheese (2% fat or less)
Cream cheese, fat-free or low fat
Cream cheese substitute, dairy-free
Feta
Mozzarella
Parmesan
Provolone
Ricotta (part skim)
String Cheese
Swiss

Sweet treats are also allowed during the South Beach Diet Phase Three and include
Candies - sugar-free hard candies only
Chocolate powder - no added sugar
Cocoa powder, unsweetened baking type
Fructose
Fudge pops, no sugar added
Gelatin - sugar-free
Gum - sugar-free
Jams and jellies - sugar-free
Popsicles - sugar-free
Syrups - sugar-free
However, be sure you limit your sweet intake to a total of 75 calories. You can even have some artificial sweeteners during the South Beach Diet Phase three which include Acesulfame K, NutraSweet, Saccharin, and Sucralose.

Fish and seafood has never been left out and you are sure to enjoy many delectable dishes during Phase three if you remember not to eat any of these items if they are breaded, deep-fried, or in the case of canned tuna it should only be packed in water.

Vegetables are allowed in all phases however, during the Phase Three you will be able to enjoy three servings per meal of fruits and vegetables, which can include:

Sea Vegetables
Broccoli
Cauliflower

Mushrooms

Apples
Apricots

Blueberries
Cantaloupe

Raspberries
Strawberries

Even though all of these foods are allowed on the South Beach Diet, you will still need to watch the amount you have. Please check with your diet plan before planning any meals.
